To repeat the pattern over a larger area line up the horizontally or vertically shaded blocks.
To square off the pattern swap the horizontally shaded flag on the right of the pattern with that on the left and swap the vertically shaded flags at the top with that at the bottom of the pattern.
The pattern is designed to be laid with 10mm joints.
