Expert natural stone supplier, CED Stone Group, supplied 10 gardens at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show with natural stone products and paving. Many of the gardens they supplied won awards at the famous annual flower show, which is sponsored by the Royal Horticultural Society and is considered to be one of the most prestigious events of its kind.
This years Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) award ceremony was held on 12th March at the Gibson Hall. First established in 1995 to recognise and reward the high quality of work carried out by landscape contractors belonging to the organisation, the awards continue to gain recognition and popularity and this year judges saw over 60 entries. Our busy Commercial Department based in West Thurrock is looking for someone to work as part of it’s Technical team.
Main duties will revolve around sample control – stock taking, ordering, labelling, handling. As well as some laboratory work testing stones and collating results.
CED Natural Stone were the proud sponsors of the Judges Award for this years Society of Garden Designers Awards. The ceremony which is referred to as the Horticultural Oscars was held on Friday 24th January at the Millennium Gloucester House Hotel, London. James Alexander-Sinclair hosted the evening where 18 awards were announced to an audience of over 300. Many garden designers are now considering these awards to be amongst the most prestigious in their profession and CED Natural Stone are honoured to be supporting the awards ceremony in their second year.
The evening was an excellent opportunity to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, and form relationships with new ones. Continue reading

SuperCedec® is ideally suited for use in urban tree pits and footpaths, and after 2 years of trials and tests this ground breaking product has already been supplied for use in projects all across the UK. The event which was organised by Phil Tremayne, regional account manager of the Horticultural Trades Association & Association of Professional Landscapers, started at 2pm with an informal meet and greet by various members of our sales and marketing team. Back in May we experienced huge success, supplying to numerous Chelsea Flower Show gardens, and it was with great pleasure to hear the news of Cityscapes’ “Remix Gardens” project. This project was created so that the materials from the Cloudy Bay Discovery Garden could be recycled in such a creative way that they went on to build 5 new garden designs across London.
