Black Basalt paving is sawn on all sides with a flame textured top surface. Basalt paving is hard wearing and ideal for use in modern contemporary designs. This basalt paving is a dark charcoal grey when dry and a solid black colour when wet.

Basalt is a fine-grained volcanic rock. The crystals in it are small and hardly visible because the rock has cooled down quickly from molten lava and the crystals did not have time to grow.
